Heh, quite a lot of what’s on that mix I might not call psybreaks nowadays – but I’d just re-started DJing and starting from scratch buying new music, and there really wasn’t a lot around at the time so I just bought anything which had even a slightly psychedelic edge even if technically it was progressive breaks or techfunk or whatever. Besides which, no-one can really agree what psybreaks is or isn’t 🙂
This mix is very old now, you might like to try the more recent one Psylekbreaks, or have a browse through the Studio Mixes section.
Also, if you can, tune in to my new show on PsyMusic Radio, every first and third Tuesday of the month from 7pm UK time, starting 18th August 2009… the aim there will be to explore all kinds of psychedelic music but especially the full spectrum of psybreaks.
